Premium software developer, Yggdrasil Gaming, has won the iGaming Software Supplier of the Year award at the 9th International Gaming Awards (IGA), which were hosted on the 1st of February in London.

What makes this particular award for the online casino games supplier so notable is that it marks the first time that the company had been nominated for an award at IGA, which is considered to be one of the most prestigious events in the iGaming industry.

Yggdrasil gaming had an astounding 2015. It not only launched an array of innovative products and features, but it also signed deals with many major operators.

What’s more, so far, this year, the company has continued with its impressive progress and has already signed a deal with bet365, announcing that it will be providing the operator’s online casino with Yggdrasil’s complete portfolio of video slots.

In a press release, Yggdrasil Gaming CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said that the company is a “young, agile and motivated business with a hunger to be better than everyone else.”  He added that winning the IGA award was beyond their “wildest dreams.”
